Mr. Muditha Peiris is a distinguished alumnus of St. Benedict’s College, Colombo, where he showcased excellence not only in cricket but also in various other sports.

After specializing in Business Management at Kingston College, London, Mr. Peiris returned to Sri Lanka in 1995 to assume the role of Managing Director at MM Express (Pvt) Limited, a family business. Over a decade of working alongside his father, he gained invaluable insights and expanded his expertise in the business domain.

Driven by his commitment to public service, Mr. Peiris contested Local Government elections, securing a comfortable victory and subsequently serving as the Chairman of the Kaduwela Urban Council in Sri Lanka from 2002 to 2006.

In 2006, he founded Mitko International (Private) Limited, a construction company, where he played a pivotal role as Chairman in elevating the company to its current status. The Mitko Group, under his leadership, now comprises five subsidiary companies operating in diverse fields such as mining and building material supplies, construction and property development, family healthcare, IT and communications solutions, and Mitko Gateway Abroad.

Continuing his dedication to public service, Mr. Peiris served as the Managing Director of Litro Gas Lanka Limited, a state-owned enterprise, from 2015 to 2019. During his tenure, he played a key role in transforming the organization into one of the most profitable and well-managed companies within the government sector. Litro Gas achieved a cumulative profit of RS.24.8 Bn (PBT), a volume growth of 97%, provided over 15,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities, won 40 awards and accolades, introduced over 2.5 million new cylinders to the market, and held over 74% of the market share.

Reappointed as the Chairman and CEO of Litro Gas Lanka Ltd and Litro Gas Terminal Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd on June 15, 2022, Mr. Peiris formulated effective strategies with the management team to address gas queues resulting from the economic and social instability of the country. These plans were successfully implemented by Litro Distributors, dealers, and staff, enabling the company to supply and distribute 2.2 million cylinders in just 20 days. In 2023, Litro Gas contributed Rs. 3.0 Bn to the state coffers after paying all related taxes.

Udeni, a distinguished professional, is a member of the Institute of Management Sri Lanka, a Chartered Global Management Accountant (GGMA-CIMA), and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA, UK). With over two decades of experience in strategic financial and general management, her journey commenced in 1994 at Associated Motorways Limited, a renowned conglomerate in Sri Lanka specializing in the motor trade and holding the Sri Lankan franchise for numerous international vehicle brands.

Demonstrating exceptional competence, Udeni transitioned to Sumathi Holdings in 1996, a conglomerate with diversified business interests both locally and internationally. Rapidly ascending the corporate ladder, she assumed the role of Group Finance Director.

Throughout her illustrious career, Udeni has shouldered cross-functional responsibilities, showcasing rare exposure levels. Her expertise spans traditional financial roles to strategic involvement in mergers and acquisitions, project management, conducting feasibility studies, engaging with national and international financial institutions, contributing to new business decision-making, and concurrently managing operational responsibilities for multiple business entities.

Her diverse career trajectory includes contributions to Integrated IT services, media distribution services, telephony services, herbal tea manufacturing, construction, quarry and excavation management, road construction works, and VOIP services.

As a trailblazer within the Mitko Group, Udeni, propelled by her task-oriented management style and an unwavering commitment to success, played a pivotal role in assisting the Group Chairman in building Mitko Group into a dynamic, fast-growing Sri Lankan company with expanding overseas business interests.

Presently, Udeni holds the esteemed position of Director/CEO at AUZ Country Carriers and Mitko Australia (Pty) Limited, further solidifying her standing as a key leader within the corporate landscape.

Mahadeva Udayasri (Sri), an integral member of Mitko Group since June 2010, brings to the table an exceptional global exposure and a wealth of experience spanning over 35 years across diverse business sectors. His expertise lies in data processing management, complemented by professional studies at the Institute of Data Processing Management, UK.

Sri embarked on his illustrious career in 1978 as a Center Manager at Blue Diamonds Ltd, the largest Diamond factory under one roof globally. Remarkably, he played a pivotal role in computerizing the entire diamond cutting and polishing process, achieving a groundbreaking feat using basic home computers (Sinclair). This milestone marked the first-ever computerization of such a process in the world.

Subsequently, Sri delved into fingerprinting technology, serving as the Executive Director of a Joint Venture company between Ceylinco Group, Sri Lanka, and Melawar Corporation, Malaysia. Melawar, a prestigious Malaysian company under the Negri Simbilan Royalties, boasted several public-listed companies. In 1994, Sri ventured out to establish his company in Malaysia, focusing on the development and marketing of Document Management Systems. Partnerships with companies like MIKA and Fujitsu Malaysia during this period solidified his presence in Southeast Asia.

By 1999, Sri transitioned into the Telecom industry, assuming the role of a shareholder and Business Development Director at Telic Communications Inc, USA. He successfully secured interconnection contracts with renowned clients such as Primus UK, Germany, and Pulse India. Concurrently, he served as the CEO of Cross Heaven, Hong Kong, spearheading efforts in VOIP technology.

Post his extensive stint at Telic, Sri continued his journey with Pulse India as a Business Development Director, significantly influencing the landscape of the 6th ISP company in India by attracting key customers and suppliers.

After decades of working across various corners of the globe, Sri returned to Sri Lanka in 2009, joining Omega Technologies. Here, he played a crucial role in Telecommunications and media until he transitioned to Mitko Group, where his wealth of experience and global insights continues to contribute to the group’s success.
